Gumpert Apollo Sport features and pictures

The Gumpert Apollo is the first vehicle produced by Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH, Germany. The car was introduced publically at this years 77th Geneva Auto Show.

The Apollo will probably be the god of the race tracks with an insane eight cylinder, bi-turbo mid-engine generating up to 800 horsepower and the car is able to reach 0-100 km/h in 3 second. The car top speed is 360 km/h. The Apollo is a 1100 kg, "street-legal" race car with up to 650 hp and 627 lb·ft of torque, designed to make the Porsche 911 GT3 look like crap, it is a mid engined, rear wheel drive two seater constructed on a tubular Chromoly frame, with carbon fiber body panels. With a 4.2L V8, Audi engine and a six-speed sequential gearbox with Formula 1 influences makes me think, why don't i have one?!
